Design and safety for a project that blends nature and architecture. Opened in early summer 2018 in Champoluc, at the foot of Monte Rosa, Campzero is the first Active & Luxury Resort in the Aosta Valley. An innovative project, curated by the architects of Bladidea studio, which makes the symbiosis of design and nature its hallmark.

The reference to the landscape and habitat of the Ayas Valley is frequent throughout the structure and also characterizes the many Dierre doors. Among the models featured in Campzero: Opera (Ei30, Ei 60), Rolling (Ei 60) and New Idra (Ei 60, Ei 120), distinguished by coplanarity between door sash and frame and with fire seals placed directly in the hall.

For Campzero, Dierre built as many as 160 Opera doors, belonging to 7 different lines, with original finishes and natural materials: from interior doors clad in blue rosewood from the Isy range to those made of fir and with a raw wood finish. Reference to Alpine peaks is evident in the entrance doors to the bedrooms, clad on the inside in fir and on the outside in “silver shine” stone.

The Paideia Center is a space for everyone, with sports activities, classes and workshops designed for children, adults, new mothers, and new fathers. It is a place to help families with children with disabilities or challenges, from the delicate moment of diagnosis to assisting in networking with social-health services and schools, to choosing rehabilitation, sports and leisure activities.

The non-profit Paideia Foundation has been offering concrete help to children and families in need for more than 20 years. Established in 1993 at the behest of the Giubergia and Argentero families of Turin, Paideia is actively and financially supported by the Ersel Group along with numerous private individuals sensitive to the initiatives run by the Foundation. We at Dierre, a partner in the project with our products, support the Center and the Foundation every year with the desire to donate support for social sustainability activities in our area.

In order to adapt the facilities to the planned activities, a total renovation of the historic villa was necessary, with the demolition and reconstruction of the 1960s building. Today, the Paideia Center stands as an environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient facility, built to the highest environmental standards with the goal of achieving LEED certification. Our interior and technical doors are the stars of this renovation project.

A residential project in the heart of the Langhe. In the western part of Alba, in a residential area surrounded by greenery, the new San Cassiano Village was designed by Paolo Dellapiana’s Turin studio Archicura under the banner of a compositional purity that highlights the ideal connection between the interior spaces and the scenic hillside landscape of the Piedmont town. Simplicity of form characterizes the buildings, which are identical in surface and massing, both in their exterior silhouettes and in interiors, shaped by the light that penetrates through the large openings, emphasized by deep splays: almost like telescopes that realize a privileged vantage point on the outside.

In this context, the choice of Dierre armoured doors plays for contrast with the colours-blue, red, and grey with white lacquered interior as if to emphasize the entrance to the house as a symbolic element. A boundary protected by models in the Synergy In line, state-of-the-art security locks, designed to pack a mix of features into the thickness of an ordinary security door. Thermal insulation (1.4 Wm2K), acoustic (45 dB), fire and burglary resistance (Class 3 and on request in Class 4), and also weather resistance are the performance features of these doors.

The buildings that make up the Village are structured through two above-ground floors and a basement. The location and position of each house were designed to obtain as unobstructed views as possible and ensure a sense of openness and breath to the outside world, despite the density of the neighborhood. In fact, the peculiar floor plan aims to enhance the multiple views offered by the context. The exterior silhouettes, as well as the actual volume and usable area, are equivalent in all four buildings, giving formal harmony to the intervention.

Petramaris remains in your heart forever. Here the skillful hand of man has created a unique and fascinating place in harmony with nature, a fusion that has created a magical place where the spectacular Madonie mountains meet the blue Mediterranean Sea and the view sweeps over the sea to meet on one side the Alicudi and Filicudi Islands and on the other the famous promontory of Palermo, also mentioned by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Here nature releases intense and intoxicating scents that blend with the salty sea breeze. Each tree and stone will strike your imagination and remain engraved in your memory forever.

The large ornamental garden surrounding the villa has several nooks and crannies with centuries-old olive trees and gardens embellished with flowers, plants, and bushes of all kinds, large outcrops of various shapes and colors appear here and there. Inside the house is furnished with high-quality furniture and accessories, every detail is designed to have maximum comfort and relaxation. The large living room of over 100 square meters with a sea view is facing the pool and consists of several relaxation areas with designer sofas and armchairs, TV and fireplace, large dining area with dining table for 8 people, bar area with wine cellar and selected wines, and a breakfast area. The kitchen is one of the masterpieces of the house!

A true monument of hospitality, built in 1903, the Grand Hotel Miramare has passed through the twentieth century while maintaining and renewing its charm. The big turning point, after World War II, which became a destination for the Italian and international jet setters: unforgettable is the name of its bathing establishment and nightclub, the Barracuda, which was frequented by VIPs from the Italian and French Riviera.

Opera is a collection of doors that can adapt to every culture, city, and need. In the hotel, we installed Opera Disuper room fire doors, by far the most innovative thanks to their extremely high noise reduction, which can be as low as 47 dB. The model chosen is Parsifal 4.
