“Design is everything, not only the furniture we choose for our homes but any object we come into contact with wants to be beautiful, refined, precious. More than that: we want it to contribute to making us feel good, complementing our lives with the right amount of functionality while possibly fulfilling its purpose, whilst leaving the smallest impression possible on the Planet. People have become sensitive to things that are aesthetically well made but, above all, well designed. This is why, I am sure, the future will increasingly be marked by objects that are environmentally friendly and active in contributing to our daily well-being. This was made clear when we visited the latest Salone del Mobile, which once again showed the importance of good design.
We are not surprised: design has always been part of our DNA, and flipping through this issue you will realise that. You will find it in the projects that bear our signature, such as the new City Life residences in Milan, but also in the newly redefined technical office – a redesign, to keep with the theme – which will allow us to further increase efficiency throughout the entire production chain, up to the new Dierre products: the Lovly door for a young, trend-conscious public, and the D180 and Sleek Out security doors, true design doors, featuring concealed hinges and being flush with the wall, open to the future in every sense.
We were born manufacturers and one of our prides is our ability to manufacture every single component in-house, from the panels of our security doors to the last cog in our locks. What’s more: we are aware that we do it well – as our history and that of those who have chosen us as their partner and supplier testify – and we have the ambition to do it better and better. Today, tomorrow, always. In the name of design.”
